SHIPLAP FAST FACTS
Shiplap is a term for milled lumber with a rabbet (at the joint), which is a stepped-shaped recess cut into the edge of the board that when paired with an adjoining board, creates an overlap. It’s a beautifully simple option for your home that adds a ton of character with its smooth face and clean lines.
Since the joint of our shiplap is most often milled with a square edge that fits flush with no gap at the joint. Besides the standard flat-faced square-edged pattern, we also have Half Log siding and Dutch Lap siding; all of which have shiplap joints.
We carry many sizes and patterns of shiplap. All of our products are finishing products. We also carry lumber for both interior and exterior projects.
