In the world of business, there are so many advantages to being a small, local business. Here at The BOSS, we really take pride in being able to give back to our communities, especially when it involves North Texas schools.
We've sponsored numerous sporting events, charity events, carnivals, spring flings...you get the idea. And while those have all been amazing moments in BOSS history, nothing will be quite as memorable or impressive as this artwork that comes from the outgoing 5th grade class at Glenhope Elementary.
Earlier this year, the students asked us if we'd be willing to donate fence pickets for their end of the year gift to the school. Naturally, we said "Yes!" without ever knowing what the final product would be. Well, ladies and gents...here it is in all its glory!
Each student was given their own picket and paint and told to go to town. Much like fingerprints, not one is alike in any way! They are all so different and unique. These kids clearly poured their hearts into this project, and it shows! needless to say, but we are pretty dang proud!
And if anyone was wondering about the supplies they used, these are nothing more than 6ft cedar pickets that have been cut in half. As far as install, it was put up just like you would a regular fence...metal poles, brackets, and cedar rails attached to the back with Buddy bolts. So, if you're looking for a fun summer project for your kiddos, this might just be what you're looking for. It's inexpensive, it's low on the labor scale, and the painting will keep your kids entertained for hours!
Have fun!!!
