Here at The BOSS, we pride ourselves on being more than just flooring store. Sure we do everything from flooring to fencing and all the supplies and tools in between, BUT we also love to see our customers succeed in their businesses too!
For the last few years, we’ve been able to partner up with the National Wood Flooring Association (NWFA) and have them on-site at The BOSS Dallas teaching those extra skills to make you a cut above the competition. Not only that, but these classes are also a great way for our team to get caught up with the latest techniques so that we can better serve you in the future.
This year, we’ll be doing a 2-day session with NWFA. They’ll be here February 8th - 9th offering classes in wood repairs and selling wood floors.
The wood repairs class is an in-depth learning experience for finished floors. You’ll also learn about injection repairs, board replacements, and factory-finished repairs. They’ll also dive into color theory and color matching. And of course, you’ll get in-depth training on scratch and gouge repairs, as well as grain replacement. They’ll even give you a guide on how to collect payment for the job!

Now for those of you interested in learning more about selling wood floors, this next class is for you! Here you’ll learn about the different types of wood and their technical attributes as flooring products. There will also be and overview of selling real wood against “wood-look” flooring. And of course, they’ll brush up on all the benefits of wood flooring.
